Water. It's Important

Up until a few months ago I didn't really understand or believe the importance of water in order to lose weight. I knew it mattered, but the more I have read the more I have learned that it matters WAY more than we think. Many of you are struggling to get the water down, I do too at times. However, it helped me to read some of these things because by reading it I actually understood "why" I was doing it. So if you are interested, here are the TOP 8 reasons you GOTTA drink your water in order to lose the weight:

1. Water supresses the appetite naturally and helps your body metabolize stored fat. Increase in water intake will reduce fat deposits. Here is why: Your kidneys can't function properly withouth enough water. When they dont work to capacity, some of their load is dumped onto the liver. When the liver has to do the kidneys work, the liver cannot operate to its fullest and less fat is metabolized. All this to say, you drink enough water so that your kidneys dont have to use your liver to help.

2. Drinking enough water is the best treatment for fluid retention. When you feel "puffy" or swollen it is because you dont have enough water. Retained water shows up as excess fat.

3. The overweight person needs more water than the thin one. Larger metabolic loads. Since we know that water is the key to fat metabolism, it follows that a heavier person needs more water.

4. Water helps to maintain proper muscle tone by giving muscle their natural abilty to contract and prevent dehydration. It also helps to prevent sagging skin that usually follows after weight loss.

5. Water helps get rid of wastes. Even though people don't like to talk about it, "pooping" is good for the body and the body needs to poop once a day. The more wastes you get rid of, the better off you are and the faster you can lose weight. If you dont drink enough water then you become constipated and everything gets more difficult.

6. Drinking cold water is better than warm water. Drinking cold water burns more calories!

7. When you are hungry you need to FIRST drink a bottle of water. Then eat something...you won't eat as much.

8. The average person needs to drink 64 ounces of water a day. However, the overweight person needs 8 additional ounces for every 25 pounds of excess weight. This is important here. You gotta keep all of your systems functioning properly so figure out how much water your body needs based on your weight. It is the key to weight loss!!!

Beauties, I hope this helps some. You are not just drinking the water and running to the bathroom all day for no reason! I promise! It does matter and if you are consistant then you will see MUCH quicker results.
